Richard Harrison, Land & Planning Director of Taylor Wimpey writes:
‘Despite 2020 being a difficult year for everyone, with COVID restrictions and national lockdowns, we have been successfully moving forward with the creation of Plumb Park, with 34 legal completions occurring in 2020. We have made great progress in the southern field which backs on to properties on Douglas Avenue, with all homes in this area started and many completed.
‘We have completed the earth movement in the allotment area, with the landscaping for this and the orchard to start in the spring. Once the weather improves, we are also keen to extend the paths across the Donkey Hill open space. We have also paid the entire £2,105,641 Community Infrastructure Levy contribution to East Devon DC as part of the scheme.
‘Of the 68 affordable homes across the site, 27 are occupied. And of the 200 private dwellings across the whole site, 73 have already legally completed. We have received several NHBC customer survey of the new survey year (Oct 2020 to Sept 2021), with 100% recommend scores from our customers.’
