Postponement of the 2021 TARA AGM

Dear Members and fellow residents,
Due to the rapidly increasing rates of Covid-19 cases in the area, combined with the risk of flu and other respiratory infections, the Committee have taken the decision to postpone the AGM that was due to take place on 6th November at Holy Trinity Church.
We will circulate the Annual Accounts and other information, including the results of the current survey. Election of Committee members will be held once we can re-arrange the AGM, which is likely to be early next year.
Two members of the current Committee are standing down: Mike Horn, who has given 18 years to TARA and whose detailed knowledge of planning matters and procedures has been invaluable, and Peter Dobbs, the current Treasurer, who has given 6 years to TARA. Deirdre Jennings, our former Chair, has kindly agreed to keep an eye on our accounts until a new Treasurer can be elected. Julian Short has recently joined the Committee. I’m sure that you will join me in thanking Mike and Peter for their contributions and also welcome Julian.
